We totally lucked out with our first (and only, so far) helicopter tour on Maui. We went with Blue Hawaiian, who was absolutely amazing. We originally booked just a short 30 minute tour through the West Maui mountains since it was (1) the cheapest, and (2) we really didn't know what to expect.

Two days before our tour, we get a voicemail message at our hotel room saying that if we were interested in going a day early, we'd get a free upgrade to the full 60 minute island tour. Awesome!

It was truly an amazing experience, and something I've been dying to do again. You really get to appreciate the diversity of the island in just one hour, from the valleys in the West to looking down on the populated areas of Central and South Maui, the greenery of the luscious East Coast, and the barren slopes on the side of Haleakala and those areas.

We just had to buy the DVD of our flight, and for only $20, it was a steal. Now, we get to relive that tour anytime we want, and even listen to some of the Lilo and Stitch music on the flight soundtrack. :)
